Commuters continued to face tough time today as the cluster buses here remained off road on many routes in protest against termination of the contract with agency that provided conductors for these buses.
Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System (DIMTS), which operates these cluster buses, had terminated the contract after which the strike began early this week.
Senior manager of Delhi Transport Corporation, R S Minhas, said frequency of DTC buses on the routes affected by the strike will be increased.
DTC is already operating 50 per cent buses on each route and this will continue until the operation of cluster buses is normalised, he said.
