Samajwadi Party state president Akhilesh Yadav today directed district units and senior office-bearers of the party to hold 'jan sampark' (public relations) meetings in their respective areas.
"The party state president and Chief Minister Akhilesh has directed all the party units and office-bearers to hold PR (public relations) meetings in their respective areas and highlight good works being done by the party in its about three years regime", SP Spokesman Rajendra Chowdhury said.
The directive said that participation of senior party leaders, legislators and MPs should be ensured in such meetings in which party workers and the common man should be told about the initiatives of the state government.
