CM insists on attending rally in Mangaluru tomorrow

: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan todayinsisted that he would visit Mangaluru and attend the 'harmonyrally' as scheduled on February 25, in spite of opposition from Sangh Parivar outfits.

Replying to questions from mediapersons here about the protests by Sangh Parivar ouftits against his visit, he said "I am going there anyway. I saw some statements of BJP leaders. I will respond after my return from Mangaluru".

Right wing groups have opposed his visit and called for a hartal in the Dakshina Kannada district tomorrow.

The Chief Minister is scheduled to address the KaravaliSouharda Rally at Nehru Maidan.

They had opposed his visit alleging that Vijayan had been encouraging political violence against Sangh Parivar activists in Kannur and in other parts of Kerala.
