Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today laid stress on natural inquisition in science and appealed to the children, teachers and parents to lay emphasis on research based education.

Science leads to self dependence and nationality, he said, adding through wise and proper use of science in the fields of agriculture, nuclear science, medical, energy and chemical science, we can take science to every home and to every individual, an official release said here.

Das said this while addressing the people after inaugurating a two-day programme of ISRO Public Outreach Event and Exhibition and Robotic Laboratory at JVM Shyamali school.

Das said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is promoting space science. The Centre has announced Rs 10 lakh promotional amount on starting Atal Tinkering Lab in schools. All schools should be a part of this drive with a view to take science to every village, he added.

"Our country has given many renowned scientists like Dr Jagdish Bose, Dr Homi Bhabha and Dr A P J Abdul Kalam. This land of ours abounds in talented individuals and all they need is to brush them up," Das said.
