Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today met the family of late Major K Manoj Kumar, who was killed along with 19 other Army personnel in the massive fire at the central ammunition depot at Pulgoan in Wardha district of Maharashtra.
Vijayan spent some time with the family of the late Major, who hailed from the state.
The massive fire had broke out yesterday at one of Asia's biggest ammunition depot that houses the largest stockpile of weapons in the country.
Manoj was to visit home in a few days for a surgery of his mother.
