Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Pannerselvam has issued orders to authorities for taking steps on warfooting for the rescue operations of three fishermen, who went missing since November three.
The three fishermen Raman, Thiyagarajan and Karthik, who hails from Arcotuthurai in Nagapattinam district went for fishing on November three. They were supposed to return the next day, an official release here said.
The chief Minister has issued orders to concerned authorities to take up rescue mission on warfooting, the release said.
The Fisheries department, Coast Guard and government officials have launched the rescue operation involving air and sea route to rescue them, the release said.
