'CM's telephonic talk with farmer aimed at electoral benefit'

Congress in Telangana Wednesday alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's telephonic talk with a farmer to address his problem vis-a-vis land ownership was for publicity and electoral benefit.

State Congress' election commission coordination committee convener G Niranjan said in a release that he has complained to election authorities about the issue

"We welcome if a problem is solved.

But when the the model code is in force, why this publicity by misusing power?" Niranjan said.
