CM's visit to inaugurate Hajj House on Aug 4 postponed: DM

The inauguration of 'Aala Hazrat Hajj House' here scheduled on August 4 by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has been postponed, officials said today.

District Magistrate Nidhi Kesarwani confirmed the deferring of the programme on the basis of information received from the CM's office in Lucknow.

However, the next date of inauguration is yet to be fixed.

Kesarwani had ordered all the agencies engaged in construction to complete the work at the earliest as the CM is expected to come any day before August 15.

40 crore have been spent by the state government to construct Hajj House on a 4-acre land.
 

The first group of pilgrims will leave for Hajj as per their fixed schedule.
