Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today asked the police to speed up the probe into allegations of irregularities in the recruitment process of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).
The Chief Minister sought to know the status of the investigation and asked for a report, official sources said.
A police case has already been filed.

The main Opposition TDP today intensified its agitation over the issue. Several TDP leaders including some MLAs had to be removed by police when they organised a protest near the Chief Minister's office.
Senior TDP MLA P Keshav alleged that Reddy refused to meet a TDP delegation. "But he cannot escape when we will raise the issue in the Assembly (the Budget session resumes tomorrow)," he said.
