CM to lay foundation stone Himachal's first IT Park tomorrow

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh will tomorrow lay the foundation stone of the state's first IT Park at Jadrangal near here.

Stating this here today, state Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma said the notification for the IT Park had already been released.

"The park will be established on a 2,500-kanal land near Chamunda Temple in the Dharamsala assembly constituency," he said, adding that more than 11,000 youths would get jobs in the facility.

Suharma said over Rs 5,000 crore would be invested in the project and several IT firms had already shown their interest to start project here.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister today laid the foundation stone of the first War Museum of north India at Dharamsala.
 

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said an amount of Rs 2 crore has been sanctioned for the purpose, and his government would seek the guidance of the armed forces to raise the structure.
