Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat today scotched speculation that someone from his family will contest from Haridwar seat, saying it will be the last option and the party is trying to make a consensus over it.
"It would be the last option that someone of his family would be the party candidate from Haridwar seat," Rawat, who is also the sitting MP from Haridwar, told reporters here.
"The party is trying to make a consensus over the candidature of a dedicated party worker from Haridwar Lok Sabha seat," he told reporters here.
