The coaches Eamonn Dolan, director of Reading Football Academy, and his deputy Lee Heron, is arriving here on Sunday, official sources said today.
A four-member delegation of Reading FC, including its CEO and director from UK, had earlier called on Chief Minister Nabam Tuki in New Delhi and expressed interest to explore the football potential in the state and to personally groom promising local players.
In a letter to the chief minister's office here, Tomo Nomuk, advisor of Reading FC, informed that the club was sending two highly qualified coaches to assess Arunachal football and to watch the semifinals and the final of the Tadar Tang Memorial Tournament, the sources said.
If the club feels that there is potential in Arunachal Pradesh, it would place two qualified coaches in the state on a permanent basis to train and hunt for talent.
Talented players would be groomed for the highest level at the academy free of cost, the sources said.
Reading FC Football Academy has one of the best training facilities in the world, with more than 100 highly qualified coaches.
