Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today expressed concern over rising level of mental stress among students in Kota and said coaching institutes should not turn themselves into factory of education.
Addressing a public meeting in Kota, she said the government is serious on the issue and coaching institutes' owners should make arrangements for counselling of students and provide quality and values-based education so that the students do not face stress.
"Students are the future of the country and they are our own children. It is responsibility of coaching institute owners to provide them a good and stress-free atmosphere so that they can perform well and without any stress," she said.

Several students in Kota, which is known for institutes offering coaching mainly for engineering and medical entrance examinations, have committed suicide due to stress.
She also called upon the coaching institutes to provide counselling for students who are under stress so that they do not take any extreme step.
