Coconut oil prices rose by Rs 25 per tin in lacklustre trade at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on pick up in demand against restricted supplies from growing belts.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to trade in a tighty range in limited deals and settled at last levels.
Traders said besides pick up in demand, tight arrivals from producing belts mainly led to the rise in coconut oil prices.
