Cold condition continues in Bihar, fog affects train services

Cold condition continued in Patna and other parts of Bihar today as the temperature went down further, though slightly.

Dense fog in the morning resulted in several trains running late in the East Central Railway zone. Fog also caused problem for vehicular traffic in different parts of the state.

Patna registered a minimum temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius against 9.8 degrees Celsius yesterday. The maximum temperature was 19.3 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 20.9 degrees Celsius, the MeT office here said.

Gaya registered a low of 8.9 degrees Celsius while it was 12 degrees Celsius in Bhagalpur and 11.2 degrees Celsius in Purnea.
 

The state weather office has forecast fog/mist in the morning tomorrow, although the sky will become clear as the day progresses.
