Cold conditions persist in Delhi

Cold conditions prevailed in the national capital today with the maximum temperature settling at five notches below the season's average at 17.5 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature was recorded a notch below the normal at 7.2 degrees Celsius.

Moderate foggy conditions were witnessed early in the mornings in several parts of the city causing visibility to drop but the situation improved as the day progressed.

The MeT department has predicted overcast conditions for tomorrow.

"It will be partly cloudy skies tomorrow. The minimum and maximum temperatures may hover around 7 and 18 degrees tomorrow with moderate to dense fog in the morning," said the MeT forecast.
 

The humidity in air oscillated between 98 and 54 per cent.

Yesterday, the minimum temperature settled at 7.4 degrees Celsius while the maximum settled at 16.4 degrees.
