Cold conditions prevailed in the hills and the valleys of Himachal Pradesh even as mercury rose by few notches in high-altitude tribal areas of the state.
Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district recorded a low of 0.4 degrees Celsius, while Kalpa and Sundernagar registered minimum temperatures of 1.4 degrees Celsius and 1.5 degrees Celsius respectively, the MeT department here said today.
Manali recorded a low of 2.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Solan 3.5 degrees Celsius, Palampur 5.2 degrees Celsius, Shimla 7.7 degrees Celsius and Dharamsala 9.5 degrees Celsius.
