Cold day in Delhi, light rains likely tomorrow

It was a cold day in the national capital today with the minimum temperature being recorded at 7.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

The maximum temperature during the day was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The humidity level was between 94 and 33 per cent, a weather department official said.

The Met department's forecast for tomorrow said their will be generally cloudy sky with mist/shallow fog in the morning.

The official said, "It is likely to rain towards the evening or night".

The department also said that the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 26 degrees Celsius, while the minimum would be around 9 degrees Celsius tomorrow.
 

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures settled at 25.2 and 7.6 degrees Celsius, respectively.
