It was a cold and foggy morning in the national capital on Tuesday, with visibility dropping down to 50 metres.

The humidity level was recorded at 100 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted shallow and moderate fog towards the evening as well.

"Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 21 and 4 degrees Celsius," the official added.

On Monday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 22 and 3.7 degrees Celsius, respectively.
