Delhiites woke up to a cold morning today with the minimum temperature settling at 9 degrees Celsius, even as fog cover resulted in cancellation of 45 trains.
Flight operations though were normal in the morning, airport officials said.
According to MeT officials, relative humidity was recorded at 97% at 8:30 a.m.

"Shallow to moderate fog was reported at around 5:30 a.m, when visibility was recorded at 400 metres. It improved to 700 metres at 8:30 a.m," an official said.
He predicted that maximum temperature is likely to hover around 21 degrees Celsius, while skies are expected to remain partly cloudy later in the day.
Shallow-to-moderate fog cover in the national capital led to cancellation of 45 trains and delayed 12 Delhi-bound trains including Gomti, Kanpur Shatabdi and Poorva Express.
"The trains were running two to six hours late," a railway official said.
Yesterday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 21.2 degrees Celsius and 6.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
