Cold morning in Delhi, max temp may touch 25 deg C

The national capital woke up to a chilly morning with the mercury settling two notches below the season's average at 5.6 degrees Celsius.

The entire northern region remained enveloped by a dense fog which disrupted railway traffic, leading to cancellations of 15 north-bound trains while 39 were delayed.

The weather office has forecast a maximum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity in the air was 100 per cent at 8.30 am.

Yesterday, the minimum temperature had settled at 5.6 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature was 23.1 degrees Celsius.
