Cold wave conditions continued to prevail in parts of Rajasthan with fog and a drop in minimum temperatures affecting normal life, a MeT department official said on Saturday.
Fatehpur in Sikar district recorded the lowest temperature in the state at minus 4 degrees Celsius on Friday night.
Sikar and Mount Abu recorded a minimum temperature of minus 1 and minus 1.5 degrees Celsius respectively.
Alwar recorded a low of 0.2 degree Celsius, followed by Pilani (0.6), Churu (1.1), Sriganganagar (2.1), Dabok (2.6), Bikaner (2.7) and Chittorgarh (2.8 degrees Celsius).
According to the MeT department, the cold wave conditions are likely to continue in the state over the next 24 hours. The department has forecast ground-frost conditions in several districts, besides a dense fog.
