Higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh got another spell of snowfall reviving cold conditions in the state.
Mid and lower hills in the state experienced widespread rains.
Day temperature dropped by five to six degrees and sky remained heavily overcast. Rains, accompanied by strong velocity icy winds, lashed the region.

Rohtang and Kunzam Pass, Pin Parvati valley and Chitkul and other high altitude tribal areas received 10 cm to 20 cm of snow while Keylong and Kalpa got 3 cm and 2 cm of snow.
Rains lashed the lower and mid hills and Saloni in Chamba district was wettest in the region with 32 mm of rains followed Bhandal 20 mm, Naina Devi 14 mm, Kalatop 12 mm Dharampur and Dalhousie 11 mm each.
Shimla got 10 mm rain, Dharamshala 9 mm, Kasauli 8 mm and Bijahi, Baijnath and Una 7mm each.
Una was the hottest in day with a high of 22.6 degree against 26.6 degree yesterday while Kangra recorded maximum temperature at 19.7 degree, followed by Sundernagar 18.4 degree, Nahan 17.6 degree, Dharamshala 17.5 degree, Solan 15.5 degree, Bhuntar 14.8 degree, Shimla 12.4 degree, Manali 8,8 degree and Kalpa 5.4 degree C.
High-altitude tribal areas reeled under biting cold wave conditions with minimum temperatures ranging between minus 12 and minus 18 degree C while Keylong and Kalpa in tribal Lahaul and Spiti and Kinnaur district recorded a low of minus 5.9 degree and minus 2 degrees, followed by Chamba 1.0 degree while the tourist resorts of Dalhousie, Manali and Shimla recorded 2.6 degree, 4.4 degree and 5.3 degree respectively.
Bhuntar recorded a low of 8.4 degree, Solan 9 degree, Dharamshala 9.4 degree, Una 10 degree, Mandi 11.8 degree and Nahan 12.8 degree C.
The local MeT department has warned of heavy Rain and thunderstorm accompanied with hailstorm at isolated places over next two days and heavy snowfall at isolated places in higher hills.
