Cold wave continues in Jharkhand

"The cold wave conditions will continue till the first week of January," A Wadood, a scientist with Birsa Agriculture University, said.

Ranchi experienced six degree Celsius of minimum temperature and a maximum of 24.2 degree Celsius, officials of Meteorological department said.

Steel city of Jamshedpur recorded a minimum of 8.2 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature was 24.5 degree Celsius, they said.

People in Palamau reeled in severe cold even during the day as there was very little difference between the maximum (13.9 C) and the minimum (7.1 C) temperatures.
