The maximum temperature rose to 12.7 degree Celsius, eight degrees below normal and up from yesterday's record low of 9.8 degrees while the minimum was recorded at 4.4 degree Celsius, down from the previous day's 4.8 degrees and three degrees below normal.
Humidity oscillated between 63 and 100 per cent.
Dense fog in the early morning hours affected road, rail and air traffic in the capital. Schedules of around 50 flights were affected due to fog.
The Weatherman has predicted similar weather conditions for tomorrow with morning fog giving way to a clear sky later in the day. The temperature is likely to be between five and 14 degree Celsius.
