According to the Met office, night temperature rose appreciably in Gorakhpur and Allahabad divisions. It rose in Varanasi, Faizabad and Lucknow divisions while changing little elsewhere.
It was below normal in Kanpur and Moradabad divisions and normal in the remaining divisions.
The Met office said that weather would be mainly dry and fog would occur over some places in the state during the next 24 hours.
The sources said that rain or thundershower would occur at many places over western UP and at isolated places over eastern parts of the state between February 4 to 6.
