Adampur shivered at a minimum temperature of 2.9 degrees Celsius today as the ongoing cold weather conditions continued unabated at most places in Punjab and neighbouring Haryana.
Adampur in Punjab was the coldest place in the two states, a Meteorological official said.
Bathinda also reeled at a low of 3.5 degrees Celsius.

Halwara and Pathankot, too, experienced the cold weather conditions recording respective lows of 5.4 degrees Celsius and 5.1 degrees Celsius.
In Haryana, Hisar was the coldest place recording a low of 3.5 degrees Celsius, five notches below normal limits.
Narnaul recorded a low of 3.6 degrees Celsius, down two degrees against normal limits.
Sirsa reeled at a low of 5.4 degrees Celius, while the low at Ambala settled at 8.6 degrees Celisus.
Cold weather conditions also prevailed in Chandigarh, the common capital of the two states, which recorded a low of 6.8 degrees Celsius.
