There was no let up in cold weather conditions in Punjab and Haryana, with Karnal and Adampur being the coldest at 3.2 degrees Celsius.
Chandigarh witnessed 6.2 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal, an official of the MeT department said.
Among other places in Haryana, Ambala, Rohtak, Bhiwani and Sirsa recorded their respective lows at 6.8, 6.7, 7.3 and 6.3 degrees Celsius respectively, up to three degrees below normal.

Hisar experienced cold conditions at 4.7 degrees Celsius, five degrees below normal.
In Punjab, Amritsar's low was 4.8 degree Celsius while Ludhiana and Patiala braved cold weather at 6 degrees Celsius each, up to three degrees below normal.
Pathankot, Halwara, Bathinda and Gurdaspur recorded their minimums at 5.5, 4.8, 5.5 and 5 degrees Celsius respectively.
