College employee commits suicide in Raj

A 50-year-old employee of a private management institute allegedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance during duty hours in Shiprapath area here, police said today.

The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Shukla, a IVth class employee at Indian Institute of Rural Management, they said.

He was found vomitting and unconscious by his colleagues. He was shifted to the Sawai Man Singh Hospital where he succumbed last evening, they said.

The body was handed over to the family after postmortem, police said, adding the exact reason behind Shukla's death was yet to be ascertained, and college administration was being also questioned in this connection.
