A junior assistant/accountant working at the University College of Science of Osmania University here was today trapped by the Anti-Corruption Bureau while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 8,000.
Neela Naik, the official, was caught red-handed near Masab Tank while accepting the bribe.
She had demanded the money from the complainant to process his vegetable supply bills, said DSP Ashok Kumar. Further investigation is on.
