A group of women dressed in miniskirts have mobilised outside of one of Colombia's most-famed nightspots to protest comments by its owner that a woman's high hemline may have contributed to her alleged sexual assault.
Protester Marcela Clavijo says "A woman has the right to show her body the way she wants to." She's one of about 20 women who joined Sunday's protest outside the Andres Carne de Res in the capital.
Restaurant owner Andres Jaramillo drew intense criticism after a radio interview last week in which he questioned whether a 20-year-old woman was raped in the restaurant's parking lot and commented on the woman's attire. Police are still investigating and no arrests have been made.
