Alleging that the Tamil Nadu's finances are in the doldrums, PMK today demanded that the state government come out with a white paper on the financial status before presenting the annual budget.
"The State's finances are in the doldrums and the debt is estimated at Rs 200,000 crore," PMK founder-leader S Ramadoss told reporters here.
Ramadoss, here to participate in a demonstration in support of tea growers, seeking Rs 30 per kg for tea leaves, said their problem would end by May as his party was sure to come to power after the 2016 elections.

On poll alliance, he said that barring DMK and AIADMK,any political party willing to accept Anbumani as Chief Minister was welcome to join their fold.
He claimed his party initially had a 40% vote share which had declined after it contested polls in alliance with different parties, he said.
Exuding confidence of a PMK victory , he said setting up the Lok Ayukta would be the first act after it comes to power and added that the party would promise free, burdenless, compulsory and quality education to all.
He alleged that that the law and order situation had deteriorated in in the four year AIDMK rule, during which there were 9,986 murders and over one lakh crimes, including thefts and burglary.
