Justice G Sivarajan Commission, probing the solar scam, will look into the various allegations relating to the case, including those relating to the office of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.

Among the charges which had surfaced when the scam broke out were that while Tenny Joppen, a former member of the CM's office was made an accused, Chandy, his personal staff, his personal security officer and his aide in Delhi were excluded by the Special Investigation Team by 'dubious methods'.

Another charge was that the then home minister, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan had allegedly helped the scam accused Saritha Nair and Shalu Menon to escape from the clutches of law.

The Commission had issued notices to all members of the assembly, including the Chief Minister, to clarify matters relating to the allegations and their connections with the scam accused, Commission sources said.

The solar scam pertains to cheating of huge amounts of money from many people by Saritha and Biju Radhakrishnan offering them solutions for setting up solar plants.

The case assumed a serious political dimension with one of the close personal aides of chief minister Oommen Chandy getting arrested in connection with the scam.
