Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand today said state's remote areas were getting focused government attention and work on upgrading infrastructure in these belts was going on at a fast pace.
"The state government is committed to socio-economic development of rural pockets. Remote and border belts are getting focused attention and work on the roadmap to upgrade infrastructure in these belts is going on at a fast pace," he told a public meeting at Khour in Aknoor belt.
Giving details of various projects launched for development of these areas, Chand said three mega rural developmental projects had already been started.
Besides, special cluster model village projects at Pargwal, Pallanwala and Sainth had been undertaken, he said.
