Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said the state government is committed to provide quality technical education in the state.
Laying the foundation stone of a lecture hall in the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Adityapur in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharswan district, Das said the objective of an MOU signed to impart technical education was to ensure that students of the state need not go outside to seek quality education.
"Good education institutions are considered as yardsticks for development of the state," he said, adding the state government has been striving to improve the quality of education.

"We did not have dearth of talent. The world has already recognised our efficiency and it was our responsibility to fulfil Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of Global India by making the concept of Make in India a success," he said.
Appreciating the initiative taken to make NIT a world class institute, the Chief Minister urged the professors and students to work as a team.
