Commodore P Suresh assumes office as Commanding Officer in Ker

Commodore P Suresh has assumed office as the Commanding Officer INS Venduruthy and Station Commander of the Navy at Kochi.

He took over from Commodore M R Ajay Kumar, who retired on August 31 after nearly 34 years of service.

A native of Trippunithura, Commodore Suresh is an alumnus of Government Model High School and MG College, Thiruvananthapuram.

Commissioned in the Navy in January 1983, Commodore Suresh is a specialist in Communications. His important afloat appointments include commands of INS Aditya, a fleet tanker and missile corvettes INS Nashak and INS Pralaya, a Naval press release said.

Commodore Suresh was the Principal Director, Naval Signals at New Delhi prior to the present appointment.
