Two groups belonging to different communities clashed here and damaged vehicles but there was no casualty, police said today.
According to police, members of two communities gathered at Vejalpur-Kharvawad, a communally-sensitive area, after a scuffle between youths from both sides over an issue last night.
They hurled stones at each other and damaged several vehicles. A team led by Bipin Ahire, District Superintendent of Police, rushed to the spot and dispersed the mob.

"No one was seriously injured in the clash. We have arrested ten people belonging to both the communities on the charge of rioting. The situation is under control at present," said Rana.
The clash took place ahead of Muharram, prompting police to further step up security in the town.
