Haryana Agriculture Minister O P Dhankar today said compensation would be given to affected cotton growers after studying a report on crop damage in some parts of the state.
He also sought the 'girdawari' report (revenue survey) conducted to assess any such damage to cotton.
As rabi (winter) sowing is underway in the state, Dhankar, who was redressing public grievances in his office at Haryana Civil Secretariat here, said adequate quantity of manure and seeds would be made available to the farmers.
The Minister said new BJP government is committed to ensure remunerative prices to the farmers for their crops, including paddy and cotton.
