Complainant K P Mohan, a former member of Aithoor village Panchayat, alleged that the six had misappropriated Rs 50 lakh sanctioned to the Gram Panchayat for public works by procuring fake bills.
They had produced fake job cards for providing jobs to unemployed rural youth and misappropriated Rs 40 lakh and another Rs 10 lakh sanctioned for construction of Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra, by renovating an old building 'Sabha Bhavana' which was constructed in 2003, he alleged.
Besides Goyal, the other accused include Panchayat president Satish Poojary and Ombudsman, MNREGA, Sheena Shetty.
Judge N K Sudhindra Rao adjourned the case to November 7 for further hearing.
