Complaints against 23 IAS officers in C'garh

Chhattisgarhgovernment today informed the Legislative Assembly that complaints (of various nature) were registered against 23 IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officers with various authorities in the state.

Complaints against these officials were filed with Lok Ayog, anti-corruption bureau and economic offences wing.

In a written reply to a question by the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly T S Singhdeo, Chief MinisterRaman Singhsaid that 24 complaints were registered against 20 IAS officers with Lok Ayog between 2013 and January 31, 2017.

During the period, two complaints were lodged, involving three IAS officers,with ACB and EOW, the reply said.

However, no complaint was registered against any IPS (Indian Police Service) officer in the same duration, it added.
 

As per the answer, of the cases lodged at the Lok Ayog, 12 have been disposed while action was pending in rest 12.

Similarly, of the cases registered with ACB/EOW, permission was granted to submit challan in one against two officers, whereas another was under investigation, it said.
