Raman Bhalla, Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, said adequate funds have been earmarked for digging up deep drill tube wells and hand pumps in the regions.
Bhalla was speaking after laying foundation of a deep drill tube well at Gangyal area near Rajiv Gandhi hospital here.
On completion, the tube well scheme will benefit people of the Dashmash Nagar and Gangyal areas, the minister said.
Asserting that the Water Supply Scheme (WSS) the projected was stipulated to be completed in the month of February next year, Bhalla asked officials to complete the project within stipulated time frame.
