Computer diploma student raped by youth

A girl was allegedly raped by a youth after offering her a lift, police said here today.

According to the FIR, the girl, a computer diploma student was raped by the youth two days ago, when he offered her a lift to her exam centre.

The victim was searching of an auto to reach her exam centre in Ballabhgargh area when the accused stopped by and offered her a lift, police said, adding, the girl took the lift as she was getting late for the exam.

When the car reached Agra canal, the accused took a different route and stopped the vehicle near a bridge and raped the girl, they said.
 

The girl alleged she was raped twice, the second time near the Dushhera ground.

The accused then dropped the victim outside her village at around 8:30 pm on Saturday and threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the incident, police said.

The girl had told the number of the youth's car and further investigations are on, police added.

Meanwhile, in a theft incident yesterday, a Delhi resident Mohan Kanwar's shop in Baselva area here, was looted of a laptop, a television, gas cylinder and inverter battery along with Rs 15,000, police said.
