Condition of five persons injured in twin blasts critical

The condition of five persons injured in the twin bomb blasts on Thursday continues to be critical, doctors said today.
According to doctors at Care Hospital, Vijay Prasad, who suffered multiple shrapnel injuries, and Yadaiah Goud, are on ventilator support.
Out of 117 persons injured in the twin blasts, some have been discharged, sources said.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today visited the site of the twin blasts at Dilsukhnagar and also victims undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, various social and cultural outfits organised protest and peace rallies in Hyderabad, Kadapa and Srikakulam districts, among others.
TDP leaders in Hyderabad claimed they were prevented from taking out a peace rally by the police, citing security arrangements for the Prime Minister's visit.
