Conductor robbed of ticket-vending machine, cash in moving bus

Three unidentified persons allegedly robbed a ticket-vending machine and a bag carrying cash from a bus condutor at gun-point, while the vehicle was on the move on Delhi-Haridwar National Highway, an official today said.

The incident occurred near Khatoli arew here yesterday when the UP Roadways bus was on its way to Haridwar from Noida, Assistant Regional Manager of UP RoadwaysPervaiz Bashir said.

The three accused boarded the bus from Dadri in Noida and later snatched from conductor Nishant at gun-point, the ticket vending machine and the cash bag, in which thousands of rupees were kept, Bashir said.

However, police claimed that only the vending machine was robbed and not the cash bag.
 

No arrest has been made in this connection so far, police said.
