Confection stabbed

A confectioner was stabbed and

injured allegedly by a photographer over a tiff involving Rs 30 in Badarpur area of South Delhi, police said today.

The confectioner Bhudev Singh, 40, a resident of Molarband in Badarpur, was stabbed in his left arm by Prem Sharma who runs a phot studio in the area.

Bhudev in his complaint to police said that Sharma demanded him Rs 30 for his photographs although he had paid Rs 210 already. An altercation erupted and both called their supporters.

Sharma, along with his two brothers, assaulted Bhudev. Sharma allegedly fetched a pair of scissors and stabbed Bhudev in his arm, said police.
 

He was taken to AIIMS trauma centre for treatment by his brother-in-law who had also arrived at the spot. The alleged attackers fled before police could reach the spot.

A case of causing hurt and wrongful restraint was registered against Sharma and others and attempts were being made to arrest them, said a police officer.
