Conference between BSF, BGB held to boost coordination

Aiming to increase friendship and cooperation between border guarding forces of the two countries, a Border Coordination Conference between the Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) was held in the city today.

The Conference, held bi-annually, was aimed at improving the border domination and to resolve various border related issues in interest of both the countries, a release issued by the BSF said.

The 19-member BGB delegation, headed by DSM Shahedul Islam, also had its Additional DG Region Commander, South-West Region, Jessore, while the 21-member BSF team was led by Sadeep Salunke, IG, BSF South Bengal, it stated.
 

The BGB delegation would be on a two-day visit to North Bengal Frontier before leaving for Bangladesh on Thursday, the release added.
