Providing a unique platform to address global concerns like disasters and climate change, IIM-Raipur is organising an international conference here from tomorrow.
The two-day International Conference on Humanitarian Logistics will bring together experts from India and abroad.
"ICHL 2013 will be a unique platform to address pressing issues and global concerns like disasters and climate change which have increased the vulnerability of disaster-prone communities," IIM-Raipur Director Prof B S Sahay said.
Discussions will focus on the role of logistics in disaster response and preparedness, relief distribution and health care systems and food security. It is the first conference on the subject in India, Sahay said.
