Most of the conflicts in the intellectual arena arise when the thought is devoid of honesty and influenced by extraneous considerations, Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh said here today.
Speaking at Vivekananda International Foundation, a right- wing think tank, Singh said intellectual honesty is as important as intellectual thought.

In his inaugural address as Chief Guest at the one-day conference themed "Communicating India", Singh said a constant introspection coupled with critical appraisal of one's inner self is what finally churns out an unbiased belief or conviction.
