As CB is set to start another round of questioning in the AgustaWestland case, Congress today asked the government to stop the campaign of "innuendos" in the multi-core helicopter deal case.
"It is more than 24 months since this government is in office. ... Please be specific instead of saying that the CB has gone to Italy and returned from Italy.
"Please come out with evidence. Instead of ... innuendos", party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters.

Singhvi said that everyone has understood that the government wants to "keep the pot boiling and keep the things hanging" to create sensationalism instead of finding the truth.
BJP has often targeted the Congress President Sonia Gandhi and other party leaders on the issue of bribes in the AugustaWestland chopper deal, who have dismissed it as "baseless".
