The Congress today slammed West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh for his remarks on "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Jai Sri Ram" slogans, charging him with using religion as a "political stick".
Ghosh while addressing a public meeting in West Bengal yesterday said that those who oppose "Bharat Mata ki Jai" and "Jai Sri Ram" slogans will be relegated to history.
Reacting to the statement by Ghosh, Congress leader Jaiveer Shergil said "I just want to say one thing to him that if he keeps on repeatedly using religion and Lord Ram as a political stick, then very soon he himself will become history".
